Narrative:
While having the operation inspected by a team from the local FSDO, a discrepancy was discovered in the inspection times. I understood that cessna progressive can allow a +/-10 hour grace period. The inspector informed me that the airplanes were not allowed to go over the 10 hour inspection time. I called another shop and had the chief inspector refresh me with the progressive care time schedule. The 10 hour over grace period is to allow the plane to return home for scheduled maintenance. This is a good example of lack of time and help causing hurried decisions.
