Narrative:

After landing on runway 31 at jvl tower advised we were cleared to land on runway 36 not runway 31. The cause of the problem was lack of positional and situational awareness with the pilot. Better communication with the tower could most likely prevent this situation from reoccurring again.

Title: INSTRUCTOR, WITH STUDENT, IN A CESSNA 152 LANDED ON THE WRONG RWY.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 31 AT JVL TWR ADVISED WE WERE CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 36 NOT RWY 31. THE CAUSE OF THE PROB WAS LACK OF POSITIONAL AND SITUATIONAL AWARENESS WITH THE PLT. BETTER COM WITH THE TWR COULD MOST LIKELY PREVENT THIS SIT FROM REOCCURRING AGAIN.
