Narrative:
This was not a big deal. Tower attempted to depart an air carrier flight ahead of our arrival. After we had been cleared to land the tower sent an air carrier flight into position on our runway. Spacing got tight so the tower instructed the air carrier flight to clear the runway. We confirmed our clearance to land and did so.
