Narrative:
Just after V1 on takeoff, inertial reference unit #1 and inertial reference unit #3 failed. Captain's primary flight display, navigation display, attitude, heading and map were lost. Autothrust failed, autoplts were both inoperative. Manual trim only. Returned to field in VMC and landed uneventfully.

Narrative: JUST AFTER V1 ON TKOF, INERTIAL REF UNIT #1 AND INERTIAL REF UNIT #3 FAILED. CAPT'S PRIMARY FLT DISPLAY, NAV DISPLAY, ATTITUDE, HDG AND MAP WERE LOST. AUTOTHRUST FAILED, AUTOPLTS WERE BOTH INOP. MANUAL TRIM ONLY. RETURNED TO FIELD IN VMC AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY.
