Narrative:
Event: gear-up landing. Cause: pilot forgot to lower gear prior to landing. Results: propeller strike, engine stoppage. Minor hull damage. Factors: fatigue -- pilot had flown 6+ hours that day, making 5 initial approachs and miscellaneous air work. Distraction -- following close traffic over burbank class C airspace and in vny pattern. Lessons: always gump. Note: aircraft did not sustain substantial damage, pilot only occupant, no injuries.
