Narrative:

Passenger had punctured bladder while changing a self catheter in main cabin r-hand lavatory. Passenger asked for a towel to clean his hands. I noticed the amount of blood loss and had him situation down. I called #1 flight attendant to notify her and page for medical help. 2 doctors responded and helped with passenger. Cockpit/flight attendants and doctors were very well coordination in this situation in helping mr X. However, chicago wasn't as well coordination. The agent meeting the flight hadn't been informed of our medical situation so there was no wheelchair. By the time a customer service manager showed up, the passenger was gone. Flight service didn't know about the situation until we got to our layover city atl and spoke with us on the jetbridge phone.

Title: AN MD80 CABIN CREW, ENRTE TUS-ORD, EXPERIENCED A PAX MEDICAL EMER. WITH 2 DOCTORS RESPONDING TO A CALL FOR MEDICAL HELP, THE FLT CONTINUED TO DEST.

Narrative: PAX HAD PUNCTURED BLADDER WHILE CHANGING A SELF CATHETER IN MAIN CABIN R-HAND LAVATORY. PAX ASKED FOR A TOWEL TO CLEAN HIS HANDS. I NOTICED THE AMOUNT OF BLOOD LOSS AND HAD HIM SIT DOWN. I CALLED #1 FLT ATTENDANT TO NOTIFY HER AND PAGE FOR MEDICAL HELP. 2 DOCTORS RESPONDED AND HELPED WITH PAX. COCKPIT/FLT ATTENDANTS AND DOCTORS WERE VERY WELL COORD IN THIS SIT IN HELPING MR X. HOWEVER, CHICAGO WASN'T AS WELL COORD. THE AGENT MEETING THE FLT HADN'T BEEN INFORMED OF OUR MEDICAL SIT SO THERE WAS NO WHEELCHAIR. BY THE TIME A CUSTOMER SVC MGR SHOWED UP, THE PAX WAS GONE. FLT SVC DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT THE SIT UNTIL WE GOT TO OUR LAYOVER CITY ATL AND SPOKE WITH US ON THE JETBRIDGE PHONE.
