Narrative:

I was aware of taxiway and runway changes at bfm and was taxiing up to what I thought was a displaced threshold while glancing at the airport diagram. I did not enter the runway and promptly did a 180 degree turn and returned to the proper plane after being notified by ground control.

Title: AN M20P PLT, TAXIING FOR TKOF AT BFM, CROSSED THE HOLD SHORT LINE WITHOUT A CLRNC.

Narrative: I WAS AWARE OF TXWY AND RWY CHANGES AT BFM AND WAS TAXIING UP TO WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A DISPLACED THRESHOLD WHILE GLANCING AT THE ARPT DIAGRAM. I DID NOT ENTER THE RWY AND PROMPTLY DID A 180 DEG TURN AND RETURNED TO THE PROPER PLANE AFTER BEING NOTIFIED BY GND CTL.
