Narrative:

The runway (runway 26 at dxr) has a substantially displaced threshold. The taxiway hold line matches the runway threshold line, making it quite a distance from the departure end of runway 26. The day was very warm and I had been holding with my back to the wind for enough time that my engine temperature was starting to rise. The increase in temperature was beginning to concern me. I was getting ready to call the tower to cancel my departure and taxi back to the municipal parking area. (Entrance to the area up in front of me on the left, runway on the right.) I rolled past the hold line before calling. In fact, before I could call, the tower cleared me to take off. I departed immediately, which brought the temperature back down to normal operation range.

Title: AN SMA ADI PULSAR PLT, TAXIING FOR TKOF AT DXR, TAXIED PAST A HOLD SHORT LINE WITHOUT A CLRNC.

Narrative: THE RWY (RWY 26 AT DXR) HAS A SUBSTANTIALLY DISPLACED THRESHOLD. THE TXWY HOLD LINE MATCHES THE RWY THRESHOLD LINE, MAKING IT QUITE A DISTANCE FROM THE DEP END OF RWY 26. THE DAY WAS VERY WARM AND I HAD BEEN HOLDING WITH MY BACK TO THE WIND FOR ENOUGH TIME THAT MY ENG TEMP WAS STARTING TO RISE. THE INCREASE IN TEMP WAS BEGINNING TO CONCERN ME. I WAS GETTING READY TO CALL THE TWR TO CANCEL MY DEP AND TAXI BACK TO THE MUNICIPAL PARKING AREA. (ENTRANCE TO THE AREA UP IN FRONT OF ME ON THE L, RWY ON THE R.) I ROLLED PAST THE HOLD LINE BEFORE CALLING. IN FACT, BEFORE I COULD CALL, THE TWR CLRED ME TO TAKE OFF. I DEPARTED IMMEDIATELY, WHICH BROUGHT THE TEMP BACK DOWN TO NORMAL OP RANGE.
