Narrative:

I was working R78 (lake city radar sector at ZJX) by myself. There was a large area of WX covering the western half of my sector requiring aircraft to deviate from their rtes of flight. While tending to a large amount of strips that had been accumulating on the sector, air carrier X asked if I had traffic in his 12 O'clock position. I replied affirmative and issued a vector to avoid traffic. Air carrier X said he was responding to an RA. I asked which way he was going and then vectored air carrier Y to maintain separation. Contributing factors are: 1) I had no d-side. 2) the a-side had not delivered strips in quite a while and when he did, I had a 'pile' to contend with. While trying to catch these up, I was distraction from my radar duties contributing to this event. Solutions: 1) more d-side help and staffing. 2) no strips to distract the radar person.
