Narrative:

After run-up on west side of lbb at freight ramp (runway 17R), taxied onto active runway 17R at taxiway south. Thought (slightly uphill) I was taxiing onto angled taxiway on west side of runway 17R. Aircraft on approximately 1 1/2 - 2 mi final to runway 17R. After turning onto runway and realizing mistake exited runway onto grass next to runway and taxied back to taxiway at taxiway south. Pilot error due to trying to get airborne and out of area due to incoming WX. Didn't pay enough attention to airport diagram.

Narrative: AFTER RUN-UP ON W SIDE OF LBB AT FREIGHT RAMP (RWY 17R), TAXIED ONTO ACTIVE RWY 17R AT TXWY S. THOUGHT (SLIGHTLY UPHILL) I WAS TAXIING ONTO ANGLED TXWY ON W SIDE OF RWY 17R.
