Narrative:

While conducting a post maintenance test flight the sliding window (approximately 12 in X 8 in plexiglas) departed the aircraft. The retaining rails (one top/one bottom) partially debonded from the main window and allowed the small sliding window to slide aft and out of its mount. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the sliding window is located on the side cockpit window and the top and bottom retaining rails that hold the plexiglas sliding window became disbonded allowing the plexiglas panel to slip out.
