Performed operational test of navigation receiver with tie tester per maintenance manual. All indications checked normal. PERFORMED OPERATIONAL TEST OF NAV RECEIVER WITH TIE TESTER PER MAINT MANUAL. ALL INDICATIONS CHKED NORMAL. CAUSE OF EVENT IS INADEQUATE PASS DOWN OF INFO THAT NAV RECEIVERS ARE ACFT SPECIFIC.
