Narrative:
We flew into lou airport from tpa. The approach to runway 6 at lou was normal and stabilized at vref = 122 KTS and on the VASI, red over white. Touchdown was smooth and normal and on the target touchdown zone. Spoilers and thrust reversers were deployed immediately and foot brakes were smoothly introduced. At first, we stayed on the centerline and the aircraft decelerated normally. However, as the aircraft was slowed down past 80 KTS, it started veering to the left. Right brakes and rudder were introduced, to no avail. As I let go of the brakes to straighten up, the problem became worse and the aircraft exited the runway to the left at taxiway speed and came to a stop on the grass. Aircraft engines were shut down and pilots and passenger deplaned the aircraft. No apparent damage to the aircraft but 1 left tire flat-spotted because of lock-up of the brake. I suspect the antiskid failed.

Title: A CHARTERED CPR TWIN JET SUFFERS A RWY EXCURSION AFTER THE L ANTISKID LOCKS UP AND PULLS THE FLT INTO THE GRASS AT LOU, KY.
Narrative: WE FLEW INTO LOU ARPT FROM TPA. THE APCH TO RWY 6 AT LOU WAS NORMAL AND STABILIZED AT VREF = 122 KTS AND ON THE VASI, RED OVER WHITE. TOUCHDOWN WAS SMOOTH AND NORMAL AND ON THE TARGET TOUCHDOWN ZONE. SPOILERS AND THRUST REVERSERS WERE DEPLOYED IMMEDIATELY AND FOOT BRAKES WERE SMOOTHLY INTRODUCED. AT FIRST, WE STAYED ON THE CTRLINE AND THE ACFT DECELERATED NORMALLY. HOWEVER, AS THE ACFT WAS SLOWED DOWN PAST 80 KTS, IT STARTED VEERING TO THE L. R BRAKES AND RUDDER WERE INTRODUCED, TO NO AVAIL. AS I LET GO OF THE BRAKES TO STRAIGHTEN UP, THE PROB BECAME WORSE AND THE ACFT EXITED THE RWY TO THE L AT TXWY SPD AND CAME TO A STOP ON THE GRASS. ACFT ENGS WERE SHUT DOWN AND PLTS AND PAX DEPLANED THE ACFT. NO APPARENT DAMAGE TO THE ACFT BUT 1 L TIRE FLAT-SPOTTED BECAUSE OF LOCK-UP OF THE BRAKE. I SUSPECT THE ANTISKID FAILED.
