Narrative:
We were at cruise altitude at FL370 and just received oceanic clearance via data link and gave a successful readback. Our position was approximately 75 NM west of rudga intersection. Soon after receiving clearance, artic radio handed us off to gander radio on HF. We contacted them, told them we were automatic dependent surveillance logged on, and received a SELCAL check. Gander informed us to omit position reports and contact shanwick on HF at n61w20. We read back and proceeded onward. Soon after passing n64w40 we realized we had not contacted iceland radio or reykjavik control upon passing the fir. (Flight information region).
