Narrative:
Long cross country (lax-lga), subtle fatigue? Thoroughly briefed expressway visual runway 31 lga. Planned to roll full length, left turn exit last taxiway. Last taxiway was unlit. We were too fast for the 'high speed' after crossing runway 4. Captain turned left, between runway lights, still on concrete, but not on taxiway. Recovered quickly.
