Narrative:

We received taxi clearance as follows: 'cleared to runway 30L via runway 22L, txwys P, G, hold short of runway 30R.' this was not an easy taxi route, because you taxi on a runway, then off, and must negotiate around a construction area close to where taxiway P intersects runway 30R. As we neared the hold short point at taxiway P and runway 30R, I noted an airplane landing on runway 30R, then realized that because the taxi line was rerouted around the construction, a part of the right wing may have been across the hold short line, which technically would be a runway incursion. At that point, I couldn't see the right wing, and can't verify if it was or wasn't over the line. We received clearance to taxi across runway 30R after traffic cleared. The ground controller didn't seem upset, but I was because I ended up short of runway 30R, but in a position I really did not want to be in.

Title: POSSIBLE RWY INCURSION WHEN THE PIC OF A DC9 FEELS THAT HIS WINGTIP IS OVER THE HOLD SHORT LINE FOR RWY 30R AT ZZZ, US.

Narrative: WE RECEIVED TAXI CLRNC AS FOLLOWS: 'CLRED TO RWY 30L VIA RWY 22L, TXWYS P, G, HOLD SHORT OF RWY 30R.' THIS WAS NOT AN EASY TAXI RTE, BECAUSE YOU TAXI ON A RWY, THEN OFF, AND MUST NEGOTIATE AROUND A CONSTRUCTION AREA CLOSE TO WHERE TXWY P INTERSECTS RWY 30R. AS WE NEARED THE HOLD SHORT POINT AT TXWY P AND RWY 30R, I NOTED AN AIRPLANE LNDG ON RWY 30R, THEN REALIZED THAT BECAUSE THE TAXI LINE WAS REROUTED AROUND THE CONSTRUCTION, A PART OF THE R WING MAY HAVE BEEN ACROSS THE HOLD SHORT LINE, WHICH TECHNICALLY WOULD BE A RWY INCURSION. AT THAT POINT, I COULDN'T SEE THE R WING, AND CAN'T VERIFY IF IT WAS OR WASN'T OVER THE LINE. WE RECEIVED CLRNC TO TAXI ACROSS RWY 30R AFTER TFC CLRED. THE GND CTLR DIDN'T SEEM UPSET, BUT I WAS BECAUSE I ENDED UP SHORT OF RWY 30R, BUT IN A POSITION I REALLY DID NOT WANT TO BE IN.
