Narrative:
We were in cruise flight at FL410 when we lost both dc generators. We lost communication with ZMP because we lost the radio frequency. When power was lost, we went to back up power, which was transformer to ess power and battery to emergency position. We got back our #1 communication radio and tuned it to 121.5 and made contact with airliners, not able to reach a flight service station. Told airliner our situation and asked for help on getting a center frequency, which they did. Got in touch with ZMP and told them we needed to land and asked for the nearest airport. Landed in lnk with no problems, but noticed batteries were down to 22 volts. When we rolled out, they should have been charging from the transformer rectifier, but did not. Could not start our APU because of low batteries. We did not declare an emergency, but center did. Turned out to be a bad left generator which spiked right generator, causing it to kick off.

Title: THE CREW OF A G2 LOSES BOTH GENERATORS AND DIVERTS TO LNK, NE.
Narrative: WE WERE IN CRUISE FLT AT FL410 WHEN WE LOST BOTH DC GENERATORS. WE LOST COM WITH ZMP BECAUSE WE LOST THE RADIO FREQ. WHEN PWR WAS LOST, WE WENT TO BACK UP PWR, WHICH WAS TRANSFORMER TO ESS PWR AND BATTERY TO EMER POS. WE GOT BACK OUR #1 COM RADIO AND TUNED IT TO 121.5 AND MADE CONTACT WITH AIRLINERS, NOT ABLE TO REACH A FLT SVC STATION. TOLD AIRLINER OUR SIT AND ASKED FOR HELP ON GETTING A CTR FREQ, WHICH THEY DID. GOT IN TOUCH WITH ZMP AND TOLD THEM WE NEEDED TO LAND AND ASKED FOR THE NEAREST ARPT. LANDED IN LNK WITH NO PROBS, BUT NOTICED BATTERIES WERE DOWN TO 22 VOLTS. WHEN WE ROLLED OUT, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHARGING FROM THE TRANSFORMER RECTIFIER, BUT DID NOT. COULD NOT START OUR APU BECAUSE OF LOW BATTERIES. WE DID NOT DECLARE AN EMER, BUT CTR DID. TURNED OUT TO BE A BAD L GENERATOR WHICH SPIKED R GENERATOR, CAUSING IT TO KICK OFF.
