Narrative:
As reported earlier, the left engine on aircraft X showed an 'over-temperature' condition on aug/mon/02. I reported to mr X, (director of maintenance) that the hydraulic pump in the right engine of aircraft X was beginning to show signs of failure and would need to be replaced prior to failure. No action has been taken, both the left engine over-temperature and the right engine failing hydraulic pump still exist! As of aug/mon/02, neither condition has been entered in the aircraft logbook, and neither has been corrected! I personally handed a temperature sensor to technician aug/mon/02 for the left engine. I was advised that the hydraulic pump for the right engine had been at ZZZZ for a week. As of this date both parts remain uninstalled and the aircraft has been flying with the crew 'carrying' the items since aug/mon/02.

Title: A CONVAIR 640 WAS DISPATCHED AND OPERATED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH ENG OVERTEMP PROBS NOT ENTERED IN THE FLT LOGBOOK.
Narrative: AS RPTED EARLIER, THE L ENG ON ACFT X SHOWED AN 'OVER-TEMP' CONDITION ON AUG/MON/02. I RPTED TO MR X, (DIRECTOR OF MAINT) THAT THE HYD PUMP IN THE R ENG OF ACFT X WAS BEGINNING TO SHOW SIGNS OF FAILURE AND WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED PRIOR TO FAILURE. NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN, BOTH THE L ENG OVER-TEMP AND THE R ENG FAILING HYD PUMP STILL EXIST! AS OF AUG/MON/02, NEITHER CONDITION HAS BEEN ENTERED IN THE ACFT LOGBOOK, AND NEITHER HAS BEEN CORRECTED! I PERSONALLY HANDED A TEMP SENSOR TO TECHNICIAN AUG/MON/02 FOR THE L ENG. I WAS ADVISED THAT THE HYD PUMP FOR THE R ENG HAD BEEN AT ZZZZ FOR A WK. AS OF THIS DATE BOTH PARTS REMAIN UNINSTALLED AND THE ACFT HAS BEEN FLYING WITH THE CREW 'CARRYING' THE ITEMS SINCE AUG/MON/02.
