Narrative:
While taxing to gate at jfk, received call from back regarding irate female passenger. Requested port authority/authorized police meet aircraft at gate. Upon gate arrival, I was informed that flight attendant #3 was verbally assaulted by a female passenger who was told to turn off her cell phone. According to the #1 flight attendant, she could be heard in the front from approximately row xo. I spoke to police when door was opened and explained situation. They spoke to the woman and let her go. No physical violence was involved but the female passenger made threats of violence. I thought it best to let the police handle it.
