Narrative:
Captain sent an ACARS message stating that mixed engines were on the aft left engine -15 power/right engine -7 power. He stated that the logbook reflected the -7 power and that all paperwork and gauges, ie, EPR, were -7 pwred. No mixed engines showed up in the computer so maintenance control was called. ACARS message from captain at 11 mins prior to departure. Maintenance control has no engine intermix code for -15 power/-7 power amendment was made to the flight dispatch release. Flight proceeded to fnt and landed. Return flight stayed on the ground in fnt till paperwork on mixed engines had been corrected. Flight plan reflected 07 engines power. Maintenance did not properly identify the mixed engines as such in the computer system. Ensure that all mixed engines have proper coding prior to departing a maintenance station, and inform dispatchers when there are mixed engines that will be a possible problem.
