Narrative:
Returning to deer valley from the east, flew below 6000 ft MSL to avoid phx class B and above 4000 ft to avoid scottsdale class D. Also was about 6 mi north of sdl. While descending to land at dvt, I had already called dvt tower, I noticed a small jet cross under my nose from right to left and 500 ft below. I did not notice the jet till he appeared on the left side of my aircraft. No evasive actions were taken by either aircraft.
