Narrative:
During landing rollout at fsd, we had to use excessive braking to void overrunning the usable length of runway 15. The last 2500 ft were notamed closed, but it was not broadcast on the ATIS. Being more cognizant of the NOTAMS would be where we can improve our safety and also having the closure broadcast on the ATIS would be another way to increase awareness.

Title: A LNDG LEAR 35A PIC HAS TO USE EXCESSIVE BRAKING WHEN THE CREW REALIZED THAT THE LAST 2500 FT OF A 6670 FT OF RWY 15 IS CLOSED AT FSD, SD.
Narrative: DURING LNDG ROLLOUT AT FSD, WE HAD TO USE EXCESSIVE BRAKING TO VOID OVERRUNNING THE USABLE LENGTH OF RWY 15. THE LAST 2500 FT WERE NOTAMED CLOSED, BUT IT WAS NOT BROADCAST ON THE ATIS. BEING MORE COGNIZANT OF THE NOTAMS WOULD BE WHERE WE CAN IMPROVE OUR SAFETY AND ALSO HAVING THE CLOSURE BROADCAST ON THE ATIS WOULD BE ANOTHER WAY TO INCREASE AWARENESS.
