Narrative:
After closing flight plan and clearing customs in fpr, I decided to continue to omn. The WX being perfect led me to leave fpr with no flight plan or FSS brief! No fool would have done this if they knew about the flight activity. My route was above the intracoastal waterway at 500-700 ft MSL. The rest you have in your reports and records. Taking time for an FSS brief would have let me know the flight activity was in progress. Along with the incident scaring me, I was full of questions, such as communications with a fighter jet and the exact boundaries of the cape airspace that I thought I knew! Consequently, I've begun sessions with an instructor to sharpen up on my unknowns and inexperience!
