Narrative:
Helicopter launched from behind hangar #xx, not visible from taxiway. I saw the helicopter immediately as it appeared from behind the building. I am sure I stopped out of reflex, but the helicopter was visible only for a blurred fraction of a second.

Title: J3 PLT AND HELI ALMOST COLLIDE ON AN UNCTLED PART OF THE ARPT AT MYF.
Narrative: HELI LAUNCHED FROM BEHIND HANGAR #XX, NOT VISIBLE FROM TXWY. I SAW THE HELI IMMEDIATELY AS IT APPEARED FROM BEHIND THE BUILDING. I AM SURE I STOPPED OUT OF REFLEX, BUT THE HELI WAS VISIBLE ONLY FOR A BLURRED FRACTION OF A SECOND.
