Narrative:

On departure on a heading of 050 degrees to intercept the 064 degree radial off of TTT on the DALL7.TTT. The autoplt was engaged. I questioned the first officer about a radio transmission about the altitude. While we discussed the issue with LNAV engaged, the airplane flew through the course. ATC notified us. We turned back to intercept. LNAV again would not join the course. We turned the autoplt off, re-engaged, and nothing. Only after puling the departure from the database again were we successful at engaging the autoplt. No aircraft conflict occurred to our knowledge.
