Narrative:
Aircraft was schedule for routine overnight check. During routine checks, nose tires were found to be worn to limits and required replacement. I replaced nose tires from the svcable tire carts and signed off as required. I was notified about the problem and understood that bias tires are not supposed to be in stock.

Title: A B737-700 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE INCORRECT NOSE TIRE AND WHEEL ASSEMBLIES REPLACED. BIAS PLY TIRES WERE INSTALLED.
Narrative: ACFT WAS SCHEDULE FOR ROUTINE OVERNIGHT CHK. DURING ROUTINE CHKS, NOSE TIRES WERE FOUND TO BE WORN TO LIMITS AND REQUIRED REPLACEMENT. I REPLACED NOSE TIRES FROM THE SVCABLE TIRE CARTS AND SIGNED OFF AS REQUIRED. I WAS NOTIFIED ABOUT THE PROB AND UNDERSTOOD THAT BIAS TIRES ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE IN STOCK.
