Narrative:

Lahso. Tower gave me lahso instructions for runway 35C at 1400-1500 ft on the altimeter on GS and localizer in IMC. I refused due to many reasons: dfw arrival WX information, wind was 030 degrees at 8 KTS, 10 SM visibility with rain, overcast 1200, altimeter 30.02, etc, and included lahso instructions for runway 35C. I was given clearance close to or below 1000 ft AGL. Need 1500 ft WX minimums. Was IMC until 1100-1200 ft MSL. ATIS reported light rain. Lahso prohibited with wet runway. Assumed wet runway with rain on ATIS. Didn't brief lahso distance to first officer due to rain.
