Narrative:
At FL350 in the vicinity of vetro intersection (approximately 300 mi north of cyyz) the #1 engine lost all oil pressure with no other abnormal parameters, initially. The oil temperature, however, started to rise above normal within 3-5 mins and the engine was shut down per SOP. After consulting with dispatch, it was decided that toronto international was the most suitable diversion airport. An emergency was declared and flight was cleared to cyyz. Purser notified as well as PA made to passenger. Landing and rollout were normal and aircraft taxied to gate normally.
