Narrative:
Commuter flight from eyw to tpa, during climb phase the red 'cargo door' annunciator 'flickered.' captain returned to eyw to verify cargo door was closed securely. Filed an occurrence report, but forgot to document in the aircraft maintenance log. Captain experienced no further illumination of the annunciator. He left note for the next day's morning crew to check security door closing after ground crew finished loading of cargo. Non-routine return-to-field probably was cause of the incident not being recorded in the aircraft maintenance log.
