Narrative:
Engine shutdown. On climb out from hou the oil filter bypass light illuminated. We ran checklist, could not get light to extinguish, and performed a precautionary engine shutdown per the QRH. We declared an emergency with ATC and returned to hou single engine. We landed with no further incident and taxied to the gate.

Narrative: ENG SHUTDOWN. ON CLBOUT FROM HOU THE OIL FILTER BYPASS LIGHT ILLUMINATED. WE RAN CHKLIST, COULD NOT GET LIGHT TO EXTINGUISH, AND PERFORMED A PRECAUTIONARY ENG SHUTDOWN PER THE QRH. WE DECLARED AN EMER WITH ATC AND RETURNED TO HOU SINGLE ENG. WE LANDED WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT AND TAXIED TO THE GATE.
