Narrative:
Hold short line on runway 13-31 for runway 9L-27R at fll is almost gone. Due to the clear day/WX, I saw the signage for the runway 9L/27R and a little of the faded hold short line. So I was able to hold short without incident and did not cross the line. I'm submitting the form because the line needs to be painted so it can be more visible. If it were inclement WX, we would not have seen the line. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: a conversation with the reporter revealed that the hold line in question is for runway 9L/27R and is located on runway 13/31, southeast of 9L/27R. When queriedif other hold lines/runway markings had been observed as being faded and hard to see, his reply was, 'no, this was the only one.' in conversation with a kfll airport official it was revealed that, at one time, when 'land and hold short' operations were conducted on runway 31, there was a hold short line located on runway 13/31 southeast of runway 9L/27. The line was removed by high pressure water blast when the 'lahso' operation ceased. The area will be examined to see if further removal efforts are necessary.

Title: AN MU30 CREW, AFTER LNDG AT KFLL, NEARLY ENTERED AN ACTIVE RWY DUE TO NOT SEEING A FADED, HARD TO SEE, HOLD SHORT LINE.

CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: A CONVERSATION WITH THE RPTR REVEALED THAT THE HOLD LINE IN QUESTION IS FOR RWY 9L/27R AND IS LOCATED ON RWY 13/31, SE OF 9L/27R. WHEN QUERIEDIF OTHER HOLD LINES/RWY MARKINGS HAD BEEN OBSERVED AS BEING FADED AND HARD TO SEE, HIS REPLY WAS, 'NO, THIS WAS THE ONLY ONE.'
