Narrative:
We were cleared for a visual approach on downwind to runway 34L at kslc. The captain continued downwind to lose altitude. FAF altitude on the ILS is 6100 ft MSL, and the captain dialed that into the MCP. He turned a left base abeam the FAF and continued his descent to 6100 ft MSL. We were on an intercepting heading just inside of the FAF and about 2 NM west of the FAF when tower called and informed us we were below the class B airspace. We acknowledged the call and continued on the visual approach. According to our FMS/inav position, we were just inside of the radius that included class B airspace to the ground. We were attempting to comply with the requirement to remain inside class B airspace when on a visual approach. It is possible we were just outside of the radius, and the airspace there was only down to 6500 MSL.
