Narrative:
To avoid a departure delay for arriving traffic at san jose del cabo, mexico, was cleared to expedite back taxi on runway 34 with clearance to takeoff upon reaching the end of the runway. At departure end, waited for the completion of the passenger briefing then made the 'flight attendant be seated' announcement and departed. A flight attendant failed to reach her flight attendant seat prior to takeoff and banged her arm and leg taking a passenger seat directly facing her normal seat. During flight, debriefed with the cabin crew. Although safety is the prime directive, reliability of schedules and company pressure constantly strive for supremacy. Corrective action -- always brief cabin crew concerning short taxi or other unusual circumstances keeping in mind that junior reserves do not have experience. Always keep safety first as in the big scheme of things, schedules are not important.
