Narrative:
This was the second leg of the day. The WX was very clear, but it was cold. On preflight, I found light frost on the wings and fuselage and advised the captain we would have to deice. All ground operations were normal, including deice, except when the captain briefed the takeoff power setting, he selected reduced power. According to company policy, with deice fluids on the aircraft, we're supposed to use rated power. I didn't catch the error until after we started the takeoff roll. We were very light weight, the WX was clear, the runway was long, and the aircraft was performing normally, so I felt safety would have been compromised to raise the issue during the takeoff roll. After we leveled off, I advised the captain of our error.
