Narrative:
Level flight observed small amount of smoke entering cabin from vents. Advised joshua approach I was diverting to L70. Ran all emergency checklists. Advised approach not declaring an emergency, and going off radio since shutting down master. Advised I would contact on ground. Landed, and on inspection observed a shop rag partially blocking air intake, which was singed, causing the smoke. There was no damage. Contributing factor was my failure to observe the rag during preflight.
