Narrative:

We were flying the gorman 3 SID out of lax on a heading to intercept the departure, the 323 degree radial from lax. The commercial lax page appears to have the radial coming from smo VOR rather than lax VOR. I glanced down and saw this and tuned smo VOR for the intercept which was incorrect. As I engaged the LNAV system with autoplt the aircraft did not make much of a correction so the 323 degree radials from lax and smo vors could not be far apart. ATC never mentioned any deviations. The smo VOR should be left off this departure page plan view as it provides a confusing depiction of the departure.
