Narrative:
Sierra approach asked us to turn 20 degrees left for B737 in our 2 O'clock position. While in the turn, we got a TCASII RA 'descend' and aircraft Y got an RA 'climb.' we had the B737 visually, which contributed to a quick response to the RA. Controller apologized for the situation. TCASII proves its worth as a back-up to the normally outstanding job FAA controllers do.
