On final into lax, runway 25L, and clear for the visual approach. Had TCASII RA climb. As we responded, this was followed by TCASII RA increase climb. We complied and informed tower. TCASII clear of conflict followed at about 2000 ft. Continued climbing to 3000 ft, heading 250 degrees as instructed by ATC, followed by climb to 5000 ft, and call approach control. They asked for reason for the go around, we informed approach we had received an RA on final. We were vectored for a 20 NM final runway 25L visual. Information note: on TCASII screen, target was behind descending about 1-2 NM behind.
