Narrative:
I am a system aircraft maintenance controller on the airbus fleet for X airlines. I received a call from ZZZ operations stating that the aircraft was 25 gallons out of tolerance on the fuel sheet. They also reported that the captain had checked the fuel and that he had his required amount on board. The aircraft departed the blocks and the operations office called back wanting to know what to do about the fuel discrepancy. I asked if the tanks were dipped after fueling, he was not sure. I sent an ACARS message to the crew to return to the blocks, but he did not receive it until he was airborne. There were no ECAM indications showing any problems with the fuel quantity system. As a precaution, I created a callout to have the system checked when the aircraft arrived in ZZZ1. There was 1 prior write-up on this aircraft on feb/sat/03 in ZZZ for the same discrepancy. No other stations have reported any problems. The aircraft continued to ZZZ1 without any problems.
