Narrative:
I was in the right seat acting as copilot and my co-captain was flying and told us to hold short of taxiway C1. Captain proceeded to taxi down the taxiway without asking where taxiway C1 was. I had not been to san in over 2 yrs. I know it had been longer for captain. Ground then told us to go to taxiway D and hold short. I pointed to taxiway D and was looking at the chart. We were cleared to cross. Captain pulled onto the runway 9 and followed the high speed turnoff line when he should have made a left turn back. He never gave me time to tell him where to go. He is hard of hearing and I had said 'wait' once but he continued. Ground again asked why we didn't follow directions. Captain should have asked about where to go but is very stubborn and reckless at times. Ground never said anything else except 'follow taxiway B to runway 9 and contact tower.'
