Narrative:
I performed a postflt inspection and found an unknown fluid, out of reach from the ground, near the tail of the aircraft. The inbound flight crew verbally informed me of the left hydraulic system low (0.79%). I informed my crew chief. I svced the left system to 0.90%. 2 fellow mechanics were sent by my crew chief to investigate the fluid near the tail. I was not able to get a direct response from the other 2 mechanics of their findings. I documented my accomplishments on a non-communication. They ignored my requests on their findings, leaving the airworthiness of this aircraft in question. When more than 1 person is involved in this line of work, communication and cooperation are required or the safety of this publication transportation is in jeopardy.
