Narrative:
Beacon is on only from sunset to sunrise (photo cell). Beacon is not turned on during daylight hours when IMC exists. Airport is now in residential area and believe beacon is critical in low visibility conditions. Beacon was not on during mar/sat/03 in daylight IMC.

Title: A COMMERCIAL PLT COMPLAINS OF THE LACK OF A ROTATING BEACON IN DAYLIGHT HRS WHEN IMC EXISTS. THE RPT IMPLIES LINKAGE TO POSSIBLE INCIDENTS WHERE IMC PREVAILS.
Narrative: BEACON IS ON ONLY FROM SUNSET TO SUNRISE (PHOTO CELL). BEACON IS NOT TURNED ON DURING DAYLIGHT HRS WHEN IMC EXISTS. ARPT IS NOW IN RESIDENTIAL AREA AND BELIEVE BEACON IS CRITICAL IN LOW VISIBILITY CONDITIONS. BEACON WAS NOT ON DURING MAR/SAT/03 IN DAYLIGHT IMC.
