Narrative:

Had 2 ewr aircraft that needed 20 mi in trail and 3 phl aircraft needed 20 mi in trail all within 15 mi of each other. Additionally, 2 of the phl traffic needed descent through overflts and the vectored ewr traffic. I was a very complex group of air traffic problems. I thought that the vectors I gave air carrier X were parallel with air carrier Y before I gave him descent, but he apparently was not. Supplemental information from acn 575505: I plugged into the d-side just as the radar controller was issuing immediate turns to 2 air carrier's. They lost separation.
