Narrative:
After touchdown, during touch-and-go with student, I heard a king air call 8 mi to the north, and will 'be entering the downwind for runway 27 crescent city.' my student called 'tail number, departing 27 carson, left traffic, we will be in the pattern for runway 27.' about 30 seconds later, I heard the king air say he 'will be entering the downwind for runway 27 on the 45 degree entry.' I then felt I knew where he would be coming from and ok'ed my student to turn crosswind. He made the call, 'aircraft number is on the crosswind runway 27 carson city.' we were looking for the traffic off our left, which is where the 45 degree to the downwind is. We turned downwind and made the call established on the downwind, runway 27 carson city. Level off at pattern altitude, I heard the king air call 'entering the downwind, carson.' I then observed him fly about 200-300 ft above us from our left 7 O'clock position. Not where he said he would be. He flew out to our right, ie, wide downwind, and I asked my student to ask if he saw us at his left 9 O'clock position. Only then did he say 'oh, there you are.' I talked with the pilot after landing. He admitted it was his fault, and he had made the error.

Title: NMAC BTWN A T28A TRAINING FLT AND AN ARRIVING BE30 ENTERING DOWNWIND ON A NON STANDARD ENTRY LEG AT CXP, NV.
Narrative: AFTER TOUCHDOWN, DURING TOUCH-AND-GO WITH STUDENT, I HEARD A KING AIR CALL 8 MI TO THE N, AND WILL 'BE ENTERING THE DOWNWIND FOR RWY 27 CRESCENT CITY.' MY STUDENT CALLED 'TAIL NUMBER, DEPARTING 27 CARSON, L TFC, WE WILL BE IN THE PATTERN FOR RWY 27.' ABOUT 30 SECONDS LATER, I HEARD THE KING AIR SAY HE 'WILL BE ENTERING THE DOWNWIND FOR RWY 27 ON THE 45 DEG ENTRY.' I THEN FELT I KNEW WHERE HE WOULD BE COMING FROM AND OK'ED MY STUDENT TO TURN XWIND. HE MADE THE CALL, 'ACFT NUMBER IS ON THE XWIND RWY 27 CARSON CITY.' WE WERE LOOKING FOR THE TFC OFF OUR L, WHICH IS WHERE THE 45 DEG TO THE DOWNWIND IS. WE TURNED DOWNWIND AND MADE THE CALL ESTABLISHED ON THE DOWNWIND, RWY 27 CARSON CITY. LEVEL OFF AT PATTERN ALT, I HEARD THE KING AIR CALL 'ENTERING THE DOWNWIND, CARSON.' I THEN OBSERVED HIM FLY ABOUT 200-300 FT ABOVE US FROM OUR L 7 O'CLOCK POS. NOT WHERE HE SAID HE WOULD BE. HE FLEW OUT TO OUR R, IE, WIDE DOWNWIND, AND I ASKED MY STUDENT TO ASK IF HE SAW US AT HIS L 9 O'CLOCK POS. ONLY THEN DID HE SAY 'OH, THERE YOU ARE.' I TALKED WITH THE PLT AFTER LNDG. HE ADMITTED IT WAS HIS FAULT, AND HE HAD MADE THE ERROR.
