Narrative:

When first turning south onto taxiway D from ramp, I noticed some yellow lights further down the taxiway. I was distraction with some flight deck duties as I approached the lights and did not stop. I did not realize that they were ILS hold lights until I had already passed them. After I passed the lights, we were cleared to taxi into position and hold. With the 10 mi visibility, my mind set was not that instrument approachs would be in progress although the ceiling, which was difficult to see at night, was 700 ft.
