Narrative:

Training flight with fairly new student. Landed runway 25 roc in first 1/3 of runway. Slowing down, tower said 'next left,' which is taxiway east, which involves a 130 degree turn. I felt tower meant taxiway G2, so told student to go to taxiway G2. He mistook east for taxiway G2. We were going too fast to complete the 130 degree turn. I said 'my plane,' and I pulled the hand brake, and we turned 90 degrees and entered mud about 6 inches. Rescue came and pushed us back 3 ft. No damage to airplane or occupants. I feel it could have been avoided by stressing to the student, no turns faster than a brisk walk when the airplane is on the ground.
