Narrative:
Student was under the hood. We were crossing west to east up near the space needle. I knew we were about to cross the localizer (runs north to south) for ILS runway 13R at bfi. I kept looking north, watching for any traffic that may be on the ILS. Unfortunately, this other plane must have been in the blind spot just above the left wing. He passed immediately in front of us, left to right. He took evasive action, climbing, banking, and we did a rapid descent. We were monitoring bfi tower (120.6) at the time, but were not talking to them, as we were north of class D airspace.
