Narrative:
First leg: departed 29N to cge. Full stop (uneventful). Second leg: departed cge, north along east side of chesapeake bay at 1000 ft to C and D canal, then turned east to summit (evy), full stop. When entering the ZZZ govt office, I was told I busted the tfr around bwi/dc and to call them. I stayed away from bwi class B airspace just in case it went down to the surface, but I did not know it included the mode C veil. I had not called millville FSS to check NOTAMS.

Title: A C182 PLT RPTED THAT HE UNKN0WINGLY VIOLATED THE DC ADIZ.
Narrative: FIRST LEG: DEPARTED 29N TO CGE. FULL STOP (UNEVENTFUL). SECOND LEG: DEPARTED CGE, N ALONG E SIDE OF CHESAPEAKE BAY AT 1000 FT TO C AND D CANAL, THEN TURNED E TO SUMMIT (EVY), FULL STOP. WHEN ENTERING THE ZZZ GOVT OFFICE, I WAS TOLD I BUSTED THE TFR AROUND BWI/DC AND TO CALL THEM. I STAYED AWAY FROM BWI CLASS B AIRSPACE JUST IN CASE IT WENT DOWN TO THE SURFACE, BUT I DID NOT KNOW IT INCLUDED THE MODE C VEIL. I HAD NOT CALLED MILLVILLE FSS TO CHK NOTAMS.
