Narrative:
Didn't get frequency change. We ended up getting it from a company aircraft ahead of us. No chase planes were called. No other problems. Could possibly solve problem by having ATC call us a little sooner before reaching edge of radio range? Neither ATC nor the company said there would be any problem.

Narrative: DIDN'T GET FREQ CHANGE. WE ENDED UP GETTING IT FROM A COMPANY ACFT AHEAD OF US. NO CHASE PLANES WERE CALLED. NO OTHER PROBS. COULD POSSIBLY SOLVE PROB BY HAVING ATC CALL US A LITTLE SOONER BEFORE REACHING EDGE OF RADIO RANGE? NEITHER ATC NOR THE COMPANY SAID THERE WOULD BE ANY PROB.
