Narrative:
Upon arrival from a local VFR flight out of ism airport, we were notified by ground control that we had entered a tfr over disney world and were told to call TRACON. After tying down the airplane, I called and was told that they did not want to talk with me. Yesterday morning, I received a call from the FAA, who proceeded to tell me that we flew slightly into the eastern edge of the tfr. I received a WX briefing, and was told the tfr was in effect. The briefer said the tfr was 3 miles in radius, centered on the 15 DME on the orl VOR, 243 degrees radial and it was effective from below 1000 ft. I was to learn later that the tfr was actually 3000 ft and below. The flight we made, was toward, jensen intersection, lake apopka, 7fl1, and sand lake seaplane base, and return to ism. I remained at 1100 ft MSL for the duration of the flight and do not recall flying further than the 12 DME from orl. I was not as worried about distance from disney world as I was about altitude. I have been in aviation most of my life, I have never violated any regulations. The FAA interviewer was very helpful and even apologized for having to 'write up' the 'incursion.' he told me that there are on the average, 8 (eight) incursion each day at the disney world tfr and about 30 in nyc. In all honesty these tfr's do not help us, pilot, or anyone else. If someone wanted to crash into one of those areas, restricting operations to about 3000 ft would not deter them. On the areas that are important enough to create tfr's, those should be clearly marked on charts and should be made aware during briefing. The briefers should make sure the information given is correct and should ask the pl. To repeat it to ensure it was properly given and understood.

Title: UPON RETURNING TO LAND AT ISM FROM A LCL ROUND-ROBIN FLT, M20C PLT ADVISED OF A DISNEY WORLD TFR VIOLATION.
Narrative: UPON ARR FROM A LCL VFR FLT OUT OF ISM ARPT, WE WERE NOTIFIED BY GND CTL THAT WE HAD ENTERED A TFR OVER DISNEY WORLD AND WERE TOLD TO CALL TRACON. THE BRIEFER SAID THE TFR WAS 3 MILES IN RADIUS, CENTERED ON THE 15 DME ON THE ORL VOR, 243 DEGS RADIAL AND IT WAS EFFECTIVE FROM BELOW 1000 FT. I WAS TO LEARN LATER THAT THE TFR WAS ACTUALLY 3000 FT AND BELOW. THE FLT WE MADE, WAS TOWARD, JENSEN INTXN, LAKE APOPKA, 7FL1, AND SAND LAKE SEAPLANE BASE, AND RETURN TO ISM. I REMAINED AT 1100 FT MSL FOR THE DURATION OF THE FLT AND DO NOT RECALL FLYING FURTHER THAN THE 12 DME FROM ORL. I WAS NOT AS WORRIED ABOUT DISTANCE FROM DISNEY WORLD AS I WAS ABOUT ALT. IN ALL HONESTY THESE TFR'S DO NOT HELP US, PLT, OR ANYONE ELSE. IF SOMEONE WANTED TO CRASH INTO ONE OF THOSE AREAS, RESTRICTING OPS TO ABOUT 3000 FT WOULD NOT DETER THEM. ON THE AREAS THAT ARE IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO CREATE TFR'S, THOSE SHOULD BE CLRLY MARKED ON CHARTS AND SHOULD BE MADE AWARE DURING BRIEFING. THE BRIEFERS SHOULD MAKE SURE THE INFO GIVEN IS CORRECT AND SHOULD ASK THE PL. TO REPEAT IT TO ENSURE IT WAS PROPERLY GIVEN AND UNDERSTOOD.
